Pizza in your Blu-ray

Domino's Pizza in Brazil is tempting movie renters through DVDs.

Creativity Online reports that the DVDs are new-release movies but are coated so that when they play, they smell like pizza.

The top of the discs are stamped with thermal ink and flavored varnish.

When they heat up from spinning in a standard DVD player, the smell of pizza blows out from the fans and is even stronger when ejected.

The discs are also printed to look like pizzas and end with the marketing message: "Did you enjoy the movie? The next one will be even better with a hot and delicious Domino's Pizza."

The discs will be distributed in 10 locations of a movie rental store in Brazil.

Streaming services like Netflix are not yet widespread, and Internet speeds are still relatively slow in Brazil, so the country has not seen the demise of the movie rental store.

YouTube Video showing fast switching with no need to change input. hell yeah!

big downside is as of right now does not have drv functionality, tv and guid is an overlay, piping video in through your cable box hdmi.  THIS IS NOT A CABLE BOX REPLACEMENT!

- google tv has not had much success with the overlay crap, either has the Wii U. We will see.

- More details will come out in 2 weeks at E3 in Vegas. I think we only know half of the story here.

-15 first party games to come out in the first year. pretty good

-Click link for the game titles to come out FPS NEWS

Thoughts. I'm more impressed with microsoft's offerings on XBOX ONE than sony’s PS4 as of right now. That could change in 2 weeks when both companies unveil the second act of these next gen consoles.

Man accidentally saws off arm, retrieves it, drives himself to hospital where it is reattached

Plastic surgeon Oskar Assmann, center rear, stands next to his patient, Hungarian worker Tibor A., in Vienna's AKH hospital on May 13. The 37-year-old man drove just over nine miles to the nearest hospital on May 11 after he accidentally sawed off his right arm below the elbow while cleaning a machine that processes construction rubble. He was able to retrieve the cut-off arm from the machine, then drive himself from Purbach, eastern Austria, to a hospital in Eisenstadt. He was then flown to Vienna, where doctors successfully reattached the arm.

Angry Maserati owner hires men to smash up his $420,000 supercar

A wealthy Chinese Maserati owner hired four sledgehammer-wielding men to smash up his $420,000 supercar in protest at poor customer service, Agence France-Presse reports.

The owner staged the dramatic intervention outside a convention center in Qingdao where a major auto show was being held. Local newspapers reported that his dispute with a Maserati dealership began when he took the car in for repairs and was charged for a new spare part even though a used part had been fitted.

In 2011, the city saw a similar stunt when the owner of a Lamborghini ordered the destruction of his vehicle after a service failed to get it running smoothly.

Man finds 1938 Superman comic in wall of house

ELBOW LAKE, Minn., May 22 (UPI) -- A Minnesota remodeler said the comic book -- Superman's first appearance -- he found in the walls of a home is worth 10 times what he paid for the house.

David Gonzalez said he purchased the Elbow Lake house for $10,100 and discovered a copy of Action Comics No. 1, a June 1938 comic book featuring the first appearance of Superman, among the old newspapers used to insulate a wall, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Wednesday.

Gonzalez said he wasn't quite as careful with the find as he should have been, accidentally tearing the cover and downgrading its condition from a three out of 10 to a 1.5 out of 10.

A copy of Action Comics No. 1 graded nine out of 10 recently sold for more than $2 million.

Gonzalez said he put the comic book up for auction at, earning a high bid of $107,333 as of Wednesday. The auction ends June 11.

Brother's house painted pink during honeymoon

SOUTHEND, England, May 22 (UPI) -- A British man said he painted his honeymooning brother's house pink with white spots in revenge for a similar prank six years ago.

Russell O'Rourke, 35, said his painted the Southend, England, house while his brother, Steve, 32, and his bride, Hayley, 31, were on their two-week honeymoon on the Greek island of Rhodes, The Mirror reported Wednesday.

Russell said Steve built a 4-foot-high brick wall across his driveway while Russell was on his own honeymoon six years ago.

"What you reap is what you sow," Russell said. "The neighbors were coming out asking what I was doing painting their house. I reckon there were hundreds of people stopping and taking pictures. Even the police were slowing down to take a look."

The brothers said they are now planning to bury the hatchet and team up to prank their older brother, David, who is scheduled to get married next year.

"People need to watch this space to see what happens to his house next year," Russell said.
