- Streaming Video will dominate especially with the release of VUDU on PS3. (Yes thats right folks real 1080p streaming!)

New Intel SSD are a bit on the tiny side
As if the tech happy public could afford normal solid state drives, now Intel has unveiled it's
310 series SSDs with the same performance but at an 1/8th the size of their predecessors.

At 51mm x 30mm x 5mm these guys more resemble a wifi card than an actual drive.  These

drives are also Intel's first mSATA SSDs which have mini PCIe connections but are electrically
SATA.  We should be seeing them next year at 40GB ($99) & 80GB ($179).*

* may not seem like much but my iTunes folder alone is way over 40GB.

Nintendo 3DS is a sight for sore eyes?

Nintendo Japan has released the warning guidelines for its upcoming 3DS handheld and they
may (or may not) be a bummer. The guidelines call for taking a break from using the 3DS
every 30 minutes (a non-existent option for serious gamers). Additional restrictions call for
children under the age of six to not use the handheld (so much for that Christmas gift lil' Billy)
and that the user should stop playing once becoming ill (duh).  While that latter is the same
restriction recommended for children watching 3D movies, the major worry is that the 3DS
tricks your eyes into seeing 3D and that prolonged exposure will cause your eyes to "forget"
how to see real 3D. how is that PlayStation phone coming along again?

Forbes reports Leonardo DiCaprio as 2010's Top-Grossing Actor
Two of his films, Shutter Island and Inception, were among the 15 highest-earning
movies at the global box office and made $1.1 billion at the global box office.
He'll make $50mil alone from inception and thats before the dvd/blu-ray release.

Your Avatar Update
As you total up your bills for the holidays, wrap your head around this figure:
$2.8 billion. That's how much money James Cameron's 'Avatar' has grossed
in worldwide box office receipts. It doesn't include receipts for the basic,
non-collector's edition on DVD and Blu-ray, released in April,
which broke sales records, nor for the recent "Extended Collector's Edition."
Nor does it include video on demand sales.

The number of youths throwing snowballs quickly grew to 40.

The officers first retreated but then fought back with the pepper spray,

prompting the youths to flee. Many were later arrested. There were no injuries, police said.
