Google TV?  Oh come on now...

Google will not stop making stuff!  Google announced on Thursday its participation with Sony, Logitech & Intel to
bring the convenience of its search engine to our televisions.  Dubbed Google TV, the service aims to have both
broadcast and internet content easily accessible through software running off an open Android-esque platform.
This would help to blur the lines between internet and television distribution as Google is presenting the opportunity
for developers to optimize their web content for Google TV.  Sony claims it will have Internet TVs running the
service this fall.
(points: Just another WebTV? - Made to tie in with Google's upcoming broadband service?)

Google celebrates 30 years of Pac-Man
There Is Playable Pac-Man In Your Google Logo

On Friday Google placed a banner celebrating 30 years of Namco's Pac-Man in one of the better homepage

classic but it is also playable.  Pac-Man purist may scoff at its lack of faithfulness to the original but lighten
the hell up folks...it's playable Pac-Man in a Google logo.  Geez.  Link will not be provided :)
It was only available for 48hrs. and The Rescue Time Blog, using Wolfram Alpha,
estimated that it might have cost us $120,483,800

Zombie Meat Jerky

The Japanese will come up with the most bizarre things and that includes “Zombie meat,” an bluish-gray

snack for horror enthusiasts and possible necrophiliacs…

This new delicacy consists of bite-size chunks of tender “zombie meat” that has been graveyard

aged to perfection.

Eat or be eaten, am I right?

In case you’re wondering the ghastly meat snack is said to taste like peppered beef

jerky and can be bought only in Japan for roughly $4.50 a pack.

 ODD NEWS

This next topic is touted as one of
the best news leads... Ever!

On Saturday night, when a costume party full of medical professionals stopped at On Tap Cafe, police said
Adamcik had a burrito stuffed below the waistband of his costume and was asking women if they want to touch it.
When one refused, he allegedly took out the burrito and groped her.
The woman called police and, when they arrived, the officers wrote in their report “there were so many
cartoon characters in the bar at the time, all Captain America’s were asked to go outside for a
possible identification.”  The woman pointed out Adamcik and the burrito was found in his boot.
He was taken to the police station.

So was the guy after her Taco or was the poor guy just trying to get Chipotlaid?

SYDNEY (Reuters) –

Ninjas are not known for having a soft side,

but a group of warriors came to the rescue of a student in Sydney

who was being viciously assaulted by muggers.

Ninjas scared off three men who were

attacking a 27-year-old German medical exchange student

in an alleyway outside their warrior school,

the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper reported on Wednesday.

One of the teachers saw the attack and instructed the students,

who were decked out in their black garb,

to go out and confront the muggers.

"You should have seen their faces when they saw us in ninja gear coming toward them,

" the school's sensei, or master, Kaylan Soto, told the newspaper.

Another ninja, Steve Ashley, said:

"It was probably the worst place in Sydney where they could have taken him."
